12/16/11 - Another Satisfied Client!
The most current news regarding the Hawaiian Island Paranormal Research Society / Hawaiian Island Ghost Hunters members, events, activities, and more. It's not official HIPRS/HIGH News unless it's reported here!
What started as a client upset with HIGH turned into a client eternally grateful to the team and the members who came out to consult her. About a month ago, a client contacted an individual claiming to represent HIPRS/HIGH for help and advice. At that point in time, the client had not been sleeping well and was physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. All she wanted was for someone to help her to understand what she was going through and why she was going though it and to analyze a photograph, but the individual kept trying to push for an investigation which she did not want for various reasons. At the end of their conversation, after she poured out her heart, the individual told the client that they would be giving her a call in a few days. When the day came for the return call, no call came. The client felt lost and let down.
Thankfully, she went to the HIGH website and decided to send an email out wondering why there was no call back. Lead Investigator Preston replied to the email and gave the client a call that same day. When he spoke to the client, she said that she was very upset with HIGH because it appeared that all the team wanted was an investigation and because she denied the requests, she was going to be ignored. Preston apologized and told the client that unfortunately, she did not speak with anyone from the team and HIGH would never treat anyone with such disrespect. He then reassured her that now that she is in contact with the real team, she would be taken good care of, investigation or not.
About a week after the initial conversations and talking back and forth to gather and share information, Preston, along with Dallas and Robin went out to the client's home for a consultation. They found the client in a sad, drained, and desperate state. With not even one piece of equipment except for a camera to try and recreate the picture that was sent in, the trio took a look around the lovely home and found nothing out of the ordinary or paranormal in nature. It was a fairly new home so wiring and high EMF was not an issue. So Robin, Dallas, and Preston sat down with the client and started explaining what they knew about the area and that some tragic events had taken place back during the time of WWII and that she could possibly be picking up on residual energies left in the environment. Through other means, they were also able to share information with the client that would help her to better understand what she may be sensing or experiencing and how to cope with it or get to a point where she would not be affected by such possible energy.
By the time the meeting was through, the client had done a 360. She was smiling and felt a sense of relief. The whole house seemed brighter and the air much lighter as compared to when they first stepped in. All three members were very happy and left confident that the client would be fine.
After a follow up call earlier today, the client told Preston that everything was going good. She was resting well again and now, she is more confident in herself, her ohana, and her understanding of the unknown. She said that if not for the HIGH, she would note have been able to truthfully tell anyone what she had been going through and would probably still be experiencing sleepless nights, or worst, had a breakdown. Preston thanked her for giving the team the opportunity to help her find the answers she was looking for and assured her that HIGH would always be a phone call away.
